These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and TB Deals, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operating the website and brand Beloved at https://beloved.pet and the Beloved iOS mobile application (“App”). By accessing the website, downloading or using the App, taking the quiz, or purchasing any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Beloved is a pet companion platform that helps devoted pet owners understand and deepen their bond with their pet. The Service includes:

  • A free pet bond quiz with personalised archetype results
  • A personalised Bond Report delivered by email
  • The Beloved iOS app with journaling, health records, bond tracking, AI-powered pet advice, expense tracking, guided bond programs, and more

Some features of the App require a paid subscription (“Beloved Pro”). The website quiz and Bond Report are free of charge.

Beloved is an entertainment and personal enrichment product. Results, archetypes, bond scores, and AI-generated content reflect creative and interpretive frameworks informed by research in the human-animal bond field. They do not constitute scientific measurement, clinical assessment, veterinary advice, or professional evaluation of any kind.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service or make a purchase. The iOS App is not directed at children under the age of 13. By accessing the Service, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

4. Digital Products and Intellectual Property

Upon successful payment, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal licence to use the purchased digital report and the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicence any product or App content to any third party
  • Reproduce or copy content in whole or in part for commercial purposes
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App’s source code
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Service
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notices or branding
  • Share, publish, or make content publicly available without authorisation

All intellectual property rights in the Service, website, quiz content, archetypes, report content, App, branding, and all other materials remain exclusively with TB Deals, LLC. The Beloved name, logo, and all related marks are our trademarks. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

5. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create within the App, including journal entries, pet profiles, photos, health records, and expense data (“User Content”).

By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and use your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We do not sell, share, or use your User Content for advertising purposes.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and store in the App. You agree not to use the App to store or transmit any unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

6. Purchases and Payment

Beloved offers two categories of purchase:

  • One-time digital purchases (website): Processed securely by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. The Company does not store or access your payment card details.
  • iOS app subscriptions: Processed by Apple Inc. through the Apple App Store. See Section 6A for full subscription and free trial terms.

Prices are displayed in USD at the time of purchase and may vary by region based on your App Store account currency. The Company reserves the right to change pricing at any time; the price at the time of your order is the price you will be charged.

6A. iOS App Subscriptions and Free Trial

Beloved Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store:

  • Monthly plan: US$4.99 per month
  • Annual plan: US$34.99 per year (~US$2.92/month). Includes an optional 7-day free trial

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. Your Apple ID account is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Free trial: If a free trial is offered, you have access to all Beloved Pro features at no charge during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and you will be charged the applicable rate. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

Cancellation: Manage and cancel at any time via Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. No refunds for partial periods.

Price changes: We will notify you of price changes in advance. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Subscriptions are also governed by Apple’s Terms of Service: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes.

7. Digital Delivery (Website Purchases)

Your personalised Bond Report will be delivered to the email address you provide at checkout, typically within 5–10 minutes of confirmed payment. Check your spam folder if you do not receive it. If not received within 30 minutes, contact support@beloved.pet.

8. Cancellation, Refunds, and Right of Withdrawal

8.1 One-Time Digital Purchases (Website)

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive), pursuant to Article 16(m), the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium where performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent.

By completing your purchase and consenting to immediate delivery at checkout, you waive your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been delivered. Refunds are not available after delivery, except where a verified technical failure prevented delivery or the product was materially different from its description. To request a refund, contact support@beloved.pet within 14 days.

8.2 iOS App Subscriptions

All App Store subscription purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. The Company cannot process refunds for Apple App Store transactions. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a subscription period after cancellation.

9. AI Features Disclaimer

The App includes AI-powered features including the pet advisor (“Ask Emily”) and bond insights. These features are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

AI-generated advice is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary care. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical concerns, health decisions, or behavioural issues relating to your pet. We make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. You rely on AI-generated content entirely at your own risk.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
  • Transmit any harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, decompile, or systematically extract data from the Service
  • Use automated means (bots, scripts) to interact with the quiz, checkout, or App
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Share your account or subscription access with others
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or degrades the performance of the Service
  • Store or transmit any unlawful, harmful, or infringing content via the App

11. Third-Party Services

The Company is not responsible for the practices of any third-party service providers.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

If you cancel your subscription, your access to Beloved Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TB DEALS, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any reliance on AI-generated content or advice
  • Unauthorised access to your data
  • Any interruption or cessation of the Service
  • Any decisions made in relation to your pet’s health, welfare, behaviour, or care based on the Service

THE COMPANY’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THE COMPANY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in such cases liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TB Deals, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your User Content; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Where applicable EU consumer protection law provides stronger protections, those provisions shall prevail.

Any dispute shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rīga, LV-1006, Latvia. EU residents also have the right to use the European Commission’s ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.

17. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. For the iOS App, we will also provide notice within the App for material changes. Continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Payment Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company.
