This Privacy Policy explains how TB Deals, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), trading as Beloved, collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use:
- The Beloved website at https://beloved.pet
- The Beloved iOS mobile application (the “App”)
- Any related services, features, or communications
By using the website or the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Latvian data protection law.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide: Website
- Email address: Collected at checkout to deliver your Bond Report and send transactional communications.
- Pet name: Optionally provided at checkout to personalise your report. Stored locally in your browser’s localStorage until the report is generated; not retained on our servers after delivery.
- Payment information: Processed directly by Stripe, Inc. We never see, store, or process your card number, CVV, or full payment details.
- Quiz responses: Stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and not transmitted to our servers unless you complete a purchase.
- Support correspondence: Any messages or emails you send to our support team.
2.2 Information You Provide: iOS App
- Pet profile data: Pet name, species, breed, photo, birthday, and adoption date you enter when setting up the App.
- Journal entries: Text, photos, mood tags, and activity tags you add to the in-app journal.
- Health and vaccination records: Vet visit records, medication notes, vaccination history, and health log data you enter manually.
- Expense records: Pet-related expense data you log within the App.
- Bond quiz responses: Your answers to the in-app bond quiz used to determine your bond archetype.
- Ask Emily conversations: Messages you send to the AI pet advisor. These are processed to generate responses and are not used to train AI models or shared with other users.
- Subscription account data: When you subscribe through Apple’s App Store, Apple provides us with subscription status and an anonymised subscriber identifier via RevenueCat. We do not receive your Apple ID or payment card details.
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Log data (website): IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps.
- Cookie and tracking data (website): See Section 8 for full details.
- Device identifier: IDFA (app, with your consent): Your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) is collected only if you grant permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you deny tracking, no IDFA is collected. See Section 7 for full ATT details.
- App usage analytics: Bond Score calculations, XP and level progression, daily activity streaks, and feature usage patterns. Used solely to provide and improve the Service.
- Crash logs and diagnostics: Crash reports and performance diagnostics used to identify and fix bugs. These do not contain your personal journal content or pet data.
- Push notification tokens: If you grant permission, your device push token is stored to deliver daily bond reminders. You can revoke this at any time in iOS Settings > Notifications.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and maintain the App’s and website’s core features
- Deliver your purchased Bond Report to your email address
- Process your subscription and in-app purchases
- Calculate and display your Daily Bond Score and XP progression
- Store and sync your journal entries, pet profile, and health logs
- Provide AI-powered pet advice and bond insights via Ask Emily
- Send push notifications and reminders (only with your permission)
- Respond to customer support enquiries
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised activity
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations
- Analyse usage to improve our services
- Measure advertising effectiveness (via Facebook Pixel, Meta SDK, and Google Ads conversion tracking, where you have consented or granted ATT permission)
We do not use your data to make automated decisions or to profile you for any purpose beyond the above stated uses and anonymised analytics.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
Under GDPR, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): To fulfil your purchase, deliver your Bond Report, and provide the App’s subscription services.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): To prevent fraud, improve our service, resolve bugs, and conduct analytics.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): For marketing cookies, tracking pixels, and IDFA-based advertising measurement, where you have provided explicit consent (website cookie consent or iOS ATT prompt). You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): To comply with applicable laws including tax, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We share your data with trusted third parties only as necessary to provide the Service. All third parties are required to handle your data securely and in compliance with applicable law.
5.1 Stripe, Inc. (Website Payment Processing)
Stripe processes one-time digital purchases on the website. They receive your payment card information, billing details, and transaction amounts. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. We receive only a payment confirmation and masked card details (last 4 digits). Privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
5.2 Resend (Email Delivery)
Resend processes your email address to deliver your Bond Report PDF. Your email is transmitted to Resend’s servers solely for the purpose of sending your transactional email. Privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
5.3 Meta: Pixel (Website) and SDK (App)
Website: We use the Meta Pixel to track website events (page views, quiz starts, purchases) and measure ad effectiveness. Hashed email addresses may be transmitted to Meta for conversion measurement. This is subject to your cookie consent.
iOS App: We use the Meta SDK to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. If you grant App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission, we share your IDFA with Meta to attribute app installs and in-app events to ads. If you decline tracking, no IDFA is shared and only aggregated, non-identifying data may be used.

5.4 Google Analytics and Google Ads
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the website, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure advertising effectiveness. Google may collect your IP address, browsing behaviour, and device information. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
5.5 Vercel (Website Hosting)
Our website is hosted on Vercel, Inc. Vercel may collect standard server logs including IP addresses. Privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
5.6 RevenueCat (App Subscription Management)
The Beloved iOS app uses RevenueCat, Inc. to manage in-app subscription status and entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymised Apple subscriber identifier, subscription event data (purchase, renewal, cancellation), and your IDFA (if you granted ATT permission) to attribute subscriptions to advertising campaigns. RevenueCat does not receive your Apple ID or payment card details. Privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
5.7 Apple Inc. (App Store and In-App Purchases)
App Store subscriptions are processed by Apple Inc. Apple collects and processes your payment and account information in accordance with Apple’s privacy policy. We receive only anonymised subscription status information from Apple. Privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.
5.8 AI Services (Ask Emily)
The Ask Emily feature processes your messages using a third-party AI service to generate responses. Text you send to Ask Emily is processed to generate responses but is not used to train AI models and is not shared with other users. The AI provider is bound by a data processing agreement with us.
6. Data Storage and Security
Website: Data collected through the website (email address, purchase records) is stored on secured servers. Quiz responses and pet name are stored only in your browser’s localStorage and are not transmitted to our servers except to generate your report.
iOS App: Your pet data, journal entries, health records, and expense logs are stored locally on your device. Subscription data is managed securely by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not store your payment information directly.
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational security measures including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and use of certified payment processors. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Advertising and Tracking: iOS App (ATT Framework)
We use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework to request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies’ apps and websites.
If you allow tracking:
- Your IDFA is shared with Meta and RevenueCat for ad measurement
- Meta may use this data to measure ad performance and build audiences
- RevenueCat uses this to attribute subscriptions to ad campaigns
If you deny tracking:
- No IDFA is shared with any third party
- We do not track you across other apps or websites
- Core app functionality is not affected
You can change your tracking preference at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies (Website)
- Essential / functional: localStorage saves your quiz progress and checkout session locally. This data is not transmitted to our servers and is cleared after your purchase is complete.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics sets cookies to collect anonymised data about website usage (pages visited, session duration, etc.).
- Advertising / marketing cookies: The Facebook Pixel and Google Ads tracking scripts may set cookies to track conversions and enable interest-based advertising.
You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential localStorage may prevent the quiz from functioning correctly.
9. Data Retention
- Purchase records and email address: Retained for 7 years to comply with Latvian and EU accounting and tax obligations.
- Support correspondence: Retained for up to 3 years after the last communication.
- Analytics data: Retained by Google Analytics per their standard settings (default 14 months for user and event data).
- Website quiz responses and pet name: Not retained on our servers after the report is generated.
- App account data (journal entries, pet profile, health records) : Retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete all locally stored data by deleting the App from your device. You can export your data via the App’s Settings at any time. To request full account deletion, contact support@beloved.pet.
- Subscription data: Retained for 7 years to comply with EU accounting and tax obligations. Third-party services (Apple, RevenueCat) may retain data according to their own retention policies.
10. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers (Stripe, Resend, Google, Meta, Vercel, RevenueCat, Apple) are based in or operate in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure such transfers are made pursuant to appropriate safeguards under GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Right to restriction: Request that we limit how we process your data.
- Right to data portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format. App users can export data via Settings.
- Right to object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
- Right to opt out of tracking: Deny or revoke ATT permission in iOS Settings at any time.
- Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for marketing or advertising tracking at any time without affecting prior processing.
- Right to lodge a complaint: EU users may lodge a complaint with the Latvian supervisory authority, the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija) at dvi.gov.lv, or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

12. Children’s Privacy
The Beloved website is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. The Beloved iOS App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@beloved.pet and we will take appropriate action, including deletion of the data.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The date of the most recent revision is shown at the top of this page. For material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users, including a notice within the App for app-related changes.
